The Search And Rescue Satellite-Aided Tracking (SARSAT) Program is pleased to announce this year's Beacon Manufacturers Workshop (BMW) to be conducted in-person on May 10, 2024, at One Ocean Resort & Spa, 1 Ocean Blvd, Atlantic Beach, Florida USA. The meeting will be chaired by Mr. Mickey Fitzmaurice, NOAA/SARSAT Satellite Engineer.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide an open forum with the organizations that manufacture, market, and service emergency beacons. As a representative of your industry, you will be given the opportunity to freely discuss issues that affect you and your customers with officials from the Federal Government who manage and operate the USA and International Cospas-Sarsat System. The workshop also allows the government officials to consider input from industry representatives before making decisions pertaining to the system.
