BMW AGENDA

The updated Beacon Manufacturer Workshop (BMW) agenda is posted.  

For those not familiar with the BMW, the workshop is designed as an interactive and collaborative workshop informing attendees of the current status and future plans for the immensely successful Cospas-Sarsat program, which has assisted in over 63,000 rescues worldwide since its inception.  The successes realized to date may be attributed to the close coordination between the 406 MHz beacon manufacturers and those responsible for operating and maintaining the ground and space segments of the system.   

Come hear about the Program, Beacon Registries, Test Facilities, Second Generation Beacons, Two-Way Communications, results from the most recent Beacon Manufacturer Survey, and more from speakers representing the various segments of the program.   Please see the agenda for the full list of topics.
