The Search And Rescue Satellite-Aided Tracking (SARSAT) Program is pleased to announce this year's Beacon Manufacturers Workshop (BMW) to be conducted in-person on May 13, 2022, at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Florida USA. The Program is also offering an opportunity for participants to attend virtually. The meeting will be chaired by Mr. Allan Knox, NOAA/SARSAT Program Analyst.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide an open forum with the organizations that manufacture, market, and service emergency beacons. As a representative of your industry, you will be given the opportunity to freely discuss issues that affect you and your customers with officials from the Federal Government who manage and operate the USA and International Cospas-Sarsat System. The workshop also allows the government officials to consider input from industry representatives before making decisions pertaining to the system.
